Matt Eich

This weeks photographer is Matt Eich, he doesn't really have a genre. He makes like different kinds of  themes that he follows. For example this image below was taken by him. The theme it was found in is 'Sin and Salvation in Baptist Town'. I'm guessing the viewpoint he's trying to make is that you can find salvation anywhere you just have to be determined. I chose this picture because it moved me. I grew up having adults tell me that African Americans were all bad people and the Hispanics were the best race because they would do anything for their family.I always Doubted them i knew anyone would do whatever it takes to protect their families. Everyone is the same but viewed in different ways which is what I got from this photograph by Matt Eich. 

Spin Like A Top

Spin like a top was basically me, holding the camera and snapping picture while I was twirling in a circle. It was sorta fun mostly because I wasn't alone so there was others to help me get ideas. I had my partner and then i found one of my classmates. There was ideas like having a bandanna in front of  your face or regularly taking pictures of your face. I chose to just place my hand on my face while I spinned but, they came out side ways which I didn't mind but, I guess they could've been better. Anyways I didn't really like this assignment because I don't feel comfortable with showing my face in pictures up close. Overall, it was fun, I enjoyed watching other take pictures rather than me taking pictures of myslef.

Laszlo Maholy-Nagy

From his Gallery of photos, I saw black and white photos, boats, and olden times . What I mean by olden times is that the photography is like older women in clothes that was worn back in the day. In general there was just images that made you feel like you were back in that time period like time traveling. This image is a good example it reminds me of one of my favorite old movies. Hairspray is the movie I'm talking about, the scene is almost the same one as Baltimore. This is why I chose this picture over the rest. 

Hans Neleman

This week the photographer is Hans Neleman. His photography is made up of complex still life, nudity and just randomness. It depends on who is looking at his works to see what they can see. Every person is different so they'll see something different depending on the picture they are observing. For instance this picture I see time and its messed up. To me this feels like time is an dependent variable for your life which is true. That's is mostly what i see just time running out after every activity you use

Hocus Focus

For my assignment this week we had to arrange the focus on the camera. So I zoomed in on this leaf that, later fell after capturing its beauty on camera. While i was looking for an object to take a picture of, it felt like i had already seen everything. Which i have since there's only so much freedom you get. I would look everywhere and I saw one of the leaves from this tree fall. I thought to myself  "Hey that leaf is symbolic to me not being able to have inspiration". I'll explain how it relates, well this leaf was in the same place, on the same tree, with the same surroundings for its short life-span. Up until it fell, now its all on its own with company from the wind. It's the same way for me I'm stuck on the same tree 'till i fall.

William Wegman

Thia picture was taken by William Wegman, he's a dog photographer . He takes pictures of a certain type of breed which is called Weimaraner Vorstehhund, as you can see by the name of it its a German dog. Out of all his pictures this one caught my eye because when you look at it; it sorta reminds you of Sherlock Holmes. He is a fictional character created by aSir Arthur Conan Doyle. In the book Holmes is a detective and well dogs have similar characteristics which is why this picture caught my eye.
