William Henry Jackson is a photographer who is known for his breathtaking pictures of The Yellow Stone National Park. He specializes in Taking pictures that capture the parks natural beauty.I enjoy this picture he took its of mountain. It might not look like much ,but in my eyes it is calming and strong. Calming because mountains are just a place where you can go to get away from society and just take a breath of fresh air. Its strong because mountains are the rock of many organisms and its beautiful its hard to explain.

Below is a  picture of a young girl on rail roads her name Chelsea Shorts, her father was incarcerated almost her whole life. After seeing his photography albums he takes pictures that have so much emotion. Looking at this picture and reading the caption that was under this image. You can almost feel the pain, sadness and loneliness she once felt. There is so many other pictures he has published but this one was my favorite. How the background just sets the mood basically. It doesn't make you pitty her but it inspires you to not let others suffer though that.

Gwenn Duborthoumieu

Gwenn Dubourthoumieu is a photographer who has traveled around East Africa and the horn of Africa. She moved to the Democratic Republic of Congo. She has earned many awards for the eye-opening pictures taken in Africa. I chose this picture because the caption that was underneath it said "...Nairobi's inhabitants don't trust neither the police nor the judicial system...." Reading this made my heart break because they don't have anyone they can trust that has power. The police was made to protect not scare.This poor man was shot in the head but, he survived. Even though he did not die the people who shot him are still roaming the streets of his neighborhood.
